The Pilgrim Monkey Attains the Way
Sun Wukong, the stone monkey, mastered seventy-two transformations, stormed heaven and was pinned under a mountain for five hundred years. Freed by the monk Tang, he guarded him on the long journey west through eighty-one ordeals and finally became a Buddha. Wild talent, once given a purpose, reached completion.
